2017 concerts

Saturday 9th December, 7.45pm. St Mary’s Church Rotherhithe. Harriet Mackenzie and Philippa Mo perform the Bach Double Concerto, Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, and Piazolla’s 4 Seasons of Buenos Aires. Information and tickets.

Monday 9th October, 7.30pm. Chamber Players Quartet, including Lucy Melvin, Hartmut Ometzberger, Dorothea Vogel, and Robin Michael perform a programme of Haydn, Boccherini and Mendelssohn at the Thames Tunnel Shaft in Rotherhithe.

Monday 14th August, 7.00pm. Sydenham High School. Chamber Players – Opening Night Concert. Performed this year by Anna Croad (violin) and Alex Barnes (Cello). Programme to include standard repertoire for violin and cello, as well as some really wonderful arrangements which they have created together.

Thursday 6th July, 7.30pm. Chamber Players (2010-2015) tutor Tony Woollard  will be performing a programme of Bach cello Suites as part of the Cecily Saunders Concert Series at St Christopher’s Hospice.

Saturday 29th April, 3.30pm. Stringfever return to the Leicester Square Theatre for another matinee performance. Long standing friends of Chamber Players, Their concerts come with this highest recommendation.

Saturday 22nd April, 6.30pm. Selected chamber ensembles coached by Chamber Players tutors will be performing a Showcase concert at Kingsdale School.

Thursday 13th April, 7.30pm. Callino Quartet perform Haydn’s Seven Last Words From The Cross. Holy Trinity Church, Penge. Admission free with a retiring collection. Their CD of this piece will also be on sale.

Saturday 1st April, 7.30pm. Chamber Players tutor Nicola Loud will be performing Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons at St Martin’s in the Fields with the Belmont Ensemble.

Saturday 11th February, 3.00pm: All Saints, West Dulwich. Cello octet, Cellophony open our Chamber Players concert season, with their own arrangement of Alice in Wonderland, narrated by Will Birch, and set to music by Richard Birchall. TICKETS £8
